Pan Peninsula Towers – Mill Harbour
Case Study Pan Peninsula Towers - Mill Harbour
The Projects
The prestigious Millharbour project involved the construction of 2 No. tower blocks – 48 and 38 storeys and included a self contained spa, gymnasium and health suite and a cocktail bar at the top of the tallest tower.
Contract Descriptions
The development was primarily for the provision of high class domestic accommodation very close to the financial district of Canary Wharf.
Requirements
All apartments were to receive a solid hardwood floor finish on a 3mm acoustic layer. Concrete base had been installed to ‘normal’ tolerances so the flatness needed to be improved before the finishes were laid.
Solution
We applied a liquid cementitious self level screed throughout the project at an average thickness of 13mm. Levelling pins were inserted on a grid and the screed was pumped into position. Each floor was completed within 2 days – including preparation (priming) and pouring.
